Alaina is a lived-experience Addiction Recovery Coach with a strong background in trauma-informed care, youth development, and mental health support, dedicated to supporting individuals on their path to recovery. With years of hands-on experience in both residential and individual treatment settings, Alaina brings a holistic, person-centred approach to helping clients overcome substance use disorders and build fulfilling, healthy lives.

Having walked the path of recovery personally, Alaina offers an authentic, empathetic understanding of the challenges clients face. This lived experience fuels a deep connection with those in recovery, creating a foundation of trust, relatability, and genuine support.

Alaina empowers individuals through evidence-based strategies, psychoeducation, and practical tools for long-term healing. Whether facilitating recovery programs, giving one-on-one recovery services or supporting youth with complex developmental and emotional issues, Alaina creates safe, nurturing environments that foster resilience and growth.

A Certified Canadian Recovery Coach (CCRC) and Honours graduate in Child and Youth Care with Addictions Support, Alaina also holds a wide range of certifications in trauma, concurrent disorders, and somatic healing.

Outside of her professional roles, Alaina is a dedicated volunteer and community advocate, actively leading life skills programs and coaching youth sports—modelling recovery, leadership, and positive change in action.
